e. lieu wolhardt is a multi-cultural/multi-media/multi-disciplinary artist, currently living in pittsburgh, pa. born and raised in hong kong to taiwanese-danish parents, they consider themselves a child of globalization.
they are a third year student at carnegie mellon university, studying video media design and lighting design, as well as pursuing an additional major in global studies.
their current obsessions include violence, gender, non-bodies, insanity, ambiguity, generational memory, folk music, multiculturalism, decolonization, anarchy, exilic spaces, zomia, disbelief, dada, self-defined camp, self obsession, self repulsion, and the existential nature of being everything & nothing at all.
outside of the theatre, they enjoy music, replicating their grandma’s recipes, video djing, and take care of their cat, forklift.
